MPub Class of `10 in the House

A big welcome to the Master of Publishing class of 2009–2010, who started today.

Ahead on their collective agenda this fall: Roberto Dosil's espertly kerned Design & Production course, Mary Schendlinger's pull-no-punches Editorial Theory and Practice, Thomas Woll's profitable Publishing Management course, and the experience that makes MPubbers out of everyday people, the 8-week Book Publishing Project.

Cheers to the new crew!

A few words of wisdom come to mind for those about to embark on this wonderful educational journey... "All hope abandon, ye who enter here."

Wait, no, that's the "good luck" mantra for the book project. Have a good term, people! Remember to come up for air, and caffeine is best if not taken intravenously.

There are secrets written all over the 3rd floor project offices. Find them, follow them, fear them.

I may be giving away one of Travis's secrets, but go find the cookie place in the basement. Do it! It will save you during the MPubbers out of mortals project time.

Good luck with your first semester!

I don't know if these are part the secret but I have the office with the window facing the moutains and there are lots of straw hats, mugs, and eating utensils in the drawers...
