Women and Books

A women authors networking group is trying to "gather information about women's economic impact and the dynamics that influence their book buying decisions. The study will also look at factors that could help more women become successfully published authors."

I think it's mostly an American study, they will be releasing the results of the survey at Book Expo America. But hopefully it will provide some interesting and new insights into women's book buying habits and how women participate in publishing.

If you are a woman, you can take the Women and Books 2007 survey here: http://www.womenandbooks2007.com/

You also have a chance to win $100. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
